Submit a receipt

Nothing enters the registers without documentation. A submission needs a primary source — a filing, a vote record, a transcript, a recording, a dated broadcast — and a plain description of what it shows. Every submission is reviewed by a moderator before it appears, and the reviewer's name and date are kept with the entry.

At least one primary source is required. Court filings, roll-call records, official transcripts, agency releases and unedited recordings carry the most weight; secondary reporting is accepted when it cites the primary document.

The source attached is authentic and unaltered, to the best of my knowledge. The description states what the source shows and does not add characterization the document does not support. I understand a moderator will verify this before anything publishes, and that declined submissions are retained in the archive's internal log.
