Put strike details in a Signal group chat
Operational details of the March 2025 strikes in Yemen -- weapons systems and the launch times of the aircraft -- were sent in a Signal group chat that a journalist had been added to, and in a second chat whose thirteen members included his wife and his brother. The Pentagon said no classified information was shared; the Department's acting inspector general opened a review at the request of the Senate Armed Services Committee.
