Sent the Alaska National Guard to Washington
Approved the Secretary of the Army's request to deploy 100 Alaska National Guard personnel to the federal task force in Washington. His office said he approved it "because he wants to help the Trump Administration restore public trust and improve the quality of life in the nation's capital". A federal judge had held such deployments likely unlawful the day before.
