Lauren Boebert
U.S. Representative — Colorado's 4th district · 3rd district, 2021–2025
Posted "Today is 1776" on the morning of January 6, 2021. Her first speech on the House floor, hours later, was the objection to Arizona's electoral votes, and she voted to sustain both objections that night. While the Capitol was occupied she posted that the Speaker had been removed from the chamber, drawing scrutiny over whether the post relayed the Speaker's movements while the building was still under attack. Elected for Colorado's 3rd district in 2020 and for the 4th from 2025.
