Backed the fight against the result after the Attorney General found no fraud

Filmed on December 10, 2020 — nine days after the Attorney General said the Department had found no fraud on a scale that would change the outcome — she was asked for her view of her father's efforts and said: "I think that, as the president has said, every single vote needs to be counted and needs to be heard... And I think a lot of Americans feel very, very disenfranchised right now, and really, question the sanctity of our elections, and that's not right, it's not acceptable." She said he would "continue to fight until every legal remedy is exhausted and that's what he should do", and added: "he has to take on this fight." The footage was handed to the Select Committee. Sixteen months later, in an eight-hour interview she sat for voluntarily, she told the Committee of the Attorney General's finding: "It affected my perspective. I respect Attorney General Barr. So I accepted what he was saying." That testimony was played at the Committee's first public hearing. People close to her told The New York Times she had tried to distance herself from her father's post-election plans. Both accounts are kept here with their dates.
