Found liable in the New York fraud judgment

Held liable with the Trump Organization in the New York Attorney General's civil fraud case, ordered to pay $4 million and barred for two years from serving as an officer of any New York corporation. The judge found "a yearslong scheme to dupe banks and others with financial statements that inflated his wealth". In August 2025 an appeals court vacated the money penalty as excessive under the Eighth Amendment; the finding that fraud was committed was left standing.
